Green River Chamber of Commerce Newsletter, October 2009- News of the new bike park project dominated the Chamber of Commerce Newsletter in October. The two page full color article filled with photos of Hilride leading groups of volunteers in a builder training highlighted how the bike park will lead to tourism and recreation dollars for the town. The article states, “The new (bike) park is another innovative idea that the City has taken into its program of work. The project partners very well with the Whitewater Park and brings another layer of amenities to not just its residents, but is also a great lure to tourists.”
